Through dialogues and training workshops the Pehea ka ‘Āina activities aim to support the development of community-wide support for organic agriculture and food system sustainability.
Pehea ka ‘Āina Community Conversations
These talk-story events feature panel discussions farmer-enabled conversations on the cutting edge of growthing local, certified-organic agriculture in Hawai‘i Nei. Information on previous talk-story events can be found here.
All of these events will be held at Kawaiwai Collective’s Mo‘ili‘ili space on University Ave in Honolulu on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 5:00pm-7:30pm. (Get the series flyer here)
‘Āina Pulapula Workshops
These agriculturally focused workshops are aimed at providing technical training and explorations to support workforce development and small business scaling for organic food production in Hawai‘i.
Workshops will primarily be held at MA‘O Organic Farms in Luallualei Valley one to two times monthly.
